Triptych Portrait Easel with Framed Iredell Painting - 1930s

Elaborate triptych portrait easel constructed of black embossed Morocco-grain leather (or leatherette) over wood. Opening reveals a painted pendant portrait of Mary Pickford -- seemingly a painted Iredell photo, perhaps from a postcard or small print, and signed "AineƩ" by the artist. "Made in England" is impressed in the leather on the back. This piece was a gift from Mary to Charles Schwartz -- one of Mary's United Artists lawyers.
